The bittersweet story of a 1970s novelty singer who, in order to revive his career, agrees to tutor a Broadway producerʼs sassy teenage daughter in the art of comedy. When he realizes how deep her troubles run, the singer is forced to choose between his career and his conscience.

BEN FEUERʼS fascination with classic cinema and television (including the films of Billy Wilder, Ernst Lubitsch and Preston Sturges and shows like Moonlighting, Buffy and Frasier) serves as the inspiration for his vivid and inventive scripts. Ben began his film career at Wesleyan University, where his thesis film "The Professor" won faculty honors, along with other festival awards. Benʼs subsequent shorts have screened at numerous festivals including Outfest, Frameline and Chicago REEL Shorts and have been distributed internationally through Ouat! Media and the Mini Movie Channel. Currently, Ben is co-writing a new romantic comedy with acclaimed writer/director Patrik-Ian Polk and editing his upcoming musical short film, "The Dancing Cavalier", for which Ben composed, arranged and recorded a full orchestral soundtrack. Ben intends to continue writing genre films and television pilots with the kind of strong, complex roles that attract talent.

S.P.A.T.S: SQUAD OF POST-APOCALYPTIC TEENAGE SUPERHEROES TV PILOT
This Buffy-inspired dramedy takes place eighty years after a nuclear explosion turns a ninetymile section of the American Southwest into an isolated wasteland. A group of mutant teenage superheroes struggle to protect their ramshackle home of Mudcreek from threats both foreign and domestic.

MODERN FAMILY: OFF DANCE 2nd Place, 2011 Scriptapalooza TV Competition

 Phil and Claire compete to join a high-school dance squad, Jay contends with Manny in the 8th grade presidential fitness test, Mitchell and Cameron debate as to who is the more knowledgeable parent. All three rivalries get a little out of hand in a grand finale at the school gymnasium.
