B.A. PARKER was born and raised in Baltimore with the great hope that she was the long-lost black daughter of John Waters. With that dream shot in the face, she became a writer. Graduating from Morgan State University with a degree in English, B.A. managed to stave off adulthood a little bit longer to pursue an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University. There she has learned of the valuable life lessons in "Point Break" and the futility of labeling her scripts as "dramedies." In the Summer of 2011, B.A. was selected as a comedy writing intern for Comedy Centralʼs Summer School, a program built on cultivating comedic minority voices. She likes Jesus, Radiohead and her Grandma.
