Adam Davidson has directed television, features and theatre.  His short film, THE LUNCH DATE, won an Academy Award, and the Palme d'Or. He's directed on a number of shows as diverse as MASTERS OF SEX, the upcoming LOW WINTER SUN for AMC, HELL ON WHEELS, BIG LOVE, ENTOURAGE, HUNG, TRUE BLOOD, ROME, THE UNITED STATES OF TARA and SIX FEET UNDER to name a few. Adam started his television career with a DGA nomination for his first episode of television on the original LAW AND ORDER. Since then, he’s gone on to direct network television such as ELEMENTARY, COMMUNITY, PARENTHOOD, FRINGE, LOST, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, and GREY’S ANATOMY. He has served as Co-Executive producer on LIE TO ME starring Tim Roth, Producer/Director on MADE IN JERSEY, and supervising producer on SHARK starring James Woods. 

As a writer, he became Milos Forman’s protégé and wrote HELL CAMP, a feature on which they collaborated.  He then wrote another script for Milos entitled PROTECT AND DEFEND.  Other adaptations include THE GINGER MAN, A GOOD DAY TO DIE, and BLACK & BLUE, a pilot sold to USA Network.
