JOSEPH CLAY has eight siblings - he knows something of conflict and drama. After completing his degree in English Literature at the University of Utah, Joseph heeded the call to go east, young man, and moved to New York City. He took time off from his job as a commercial editor to write and direct a feature film involving accidental prostitution, cremation, and Black Metal music. The very day shooting wrapped, he received his letter of acceptance to the Columbia University MFA film program. Joseph writes "family" stories - narratives no one would mistake as family-friendly - but instead ones based on his firm belief that the most dynamic relationships and interesting conflicts exist within the walls of home. Joseph lives, quite conflict-free, in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.

THE ARRESTED DRAMA, THRILLER
Audrey Novakʼs grandfather, Gene, raised her on the grift, and itʼs the only way she knows to provide for her family. But when her two young children begin displaying their own corruption, Audrey is determined to go legit. Her efforts are derailed when Gene is arrested for a cold-case homicide - heʼs released to house arrest until trial, and the family is suddenly under attack from a Polish crime faction intent on silencing him. When Audrey is promised the life she wants for her children if sheʼll simply kill Gene, she must decide between that bright future or loyalty to the man who loved and raised her.

I AM NOT WHAT I AM HORROR, BLACK COMEDY
Jack Turner, a young filmmaker whose family is drowning in medical bills, embarks on a lowbudget horror project heʼs sure will be the next PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and the familyʼs economic salvation. To ensure its success, Jack casts the creepiest person he can find to play the villain. Huey Crane is the perfect on-screen psychopath because heʼs a real-life psychopath. Huey threatens to take not just directorial control, but also Jackʼs wife, his children, and his life. Jack must decide what heʼs willing to sacrifice, and who heʼs willing to become, to make a hit.

LAMPLIGHT SHADOWS TELEVISION PILOT, DRAMA, THRILLER
When massive electromagnetic pulses of unknown origin rock the earth, electricity becomes a thing of the past - all communication technologies, modern transportation, systems of production and distribution are instantly wiped out. Henry Hawkins, a successful hedge-fund manager, discovers his skills mean little in a new world where seeds and ammunition are the currencies of worth. After his family escapes the increasingly barbaric lawlessness of a darkened Manhattan, they must learn to hunt, to gather, to farm - simple survival requires adaption. As tribes begin to form as the basis of the new society, Henry claws his way to the chiefdom. Henryʼs brilliant seventeen-year-old son, Johnny, despises his calculating and ambitious father, and soon breaks away to form his own clan. These factions face the threat of each other, marauding outsiders, and an uncertain future as they struggle to forge a new civilization.
