Simão has lived and worked as an actor/director in theatre and film in Lisbon, London and New York. As an actor he has worked with directors such as Werner Schroeter and Roberto Faenza. His short film The Blind Voyeur was awarded the Jury Prize by Werner Herzog in the FILMAKA Film Festival. In 2006, He completed his B.A. in Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He is currently enrolled in the Film MFA Graduate Program at Columbia University in New York and is a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation fellow.

Born and raised in Valladolid, Spain, Elisa is a graduate of the Universidad Complutense Madrid and University of Sussex, United Kingdom. She has worked in the videogame industry and produced a number of award winning short films in very different genres and styles. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Film Producing at Columbia University as a La Caixa Fellow, and co-producing her first independent feature - to be shot in New York in April 2011. She was also the recipient of the PostWorks Post Production Award for the film A Viagem.
