| Karrie Crouse Director/Writer Karrie Crouse was born and raised in North Carolina and studied filmmaking in the M.F.A. Film Program at Columbia University in New York. Her films have been honored at numerous festivals domestically and abroad including: Munich International Festival of Film Schools, LA Shorts Festival, Starz! First Look Film Festival and FESTCINE. Most recently, her short script CROSSBAR HOTEL won first place at the Vail Screenplay Festival and was a finalist in the Slamdance Screenplay Festival. This fall Karrie co-wrote the feature film PILGRIM SONG with winner of last year’s SXSW The Chicken & Egg Pictures "We Believe in You" Award, Martha Stephens. PILGRIM SONG is set to shoot this July. |
