Bora Kim is an M.F.A. candidate in Film at Columbia University, School of the Arts, where she was a recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Fellowship and Tom's Scholarship. Her short films have been screened at various film festivals around the world and have also been broadcast on Korean national television. THE RECORDER EXAM is her thesis film, and was funded by the Korean Film Council, Seoul Film Commission and Kodak Korea.
