Gina Atwater
Director/Writer

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Gina graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Film Studies. She is a writer/director currently pursuing an M.F.A. in the Film Program at Columbia University's School of the Arts. Her television pilot Saints was nominated for the Humanitas Prize, and her short films have screened at numerous festivals around the country. Her most recent film Joy in the Morning (writer/director/editor) can be seen on BET.com as part of the network's Lens on Talent Program and won the 2009 HBO Student Film Award at the Savannah Film Festival.



Veronica Nickel
Producer

Veronica Nickel is a recent graduate of Columbia University. In her short tenure at Columbia, she produced more than 10 short films, many of them award winning. She was the Executive Producer of a viral video campaign that was the result of a partnership between Equal (sweetener) and Columbia University, and oversaw production of six videos for that campaign. In 2009, she was awarded the prestigious Arthur Krim Endowment Award for excellence in producing at Columbia University. Veronica is the managing director of her own production company Illuminaria Productions, Inc. that currently has two feature film projects in development. Prior to embarking on a career in film production, Veronica was an HR Consultant for Wilson Learning, based in the U.S. and Australia.
