Greg Mottola to Direct New Aaron Sorkin Pilot

This year's CUFF Andrew Sarris Award Recipient, Greg Mottola, just signed on to direct a new HBO series by Academy Award winning writer, Aaron Sorkin. The show will take place behind the scenes of a cable show. Jeff Daniels is in negotiations to play the lead role of Will McCallister. Mottola previously worked in television directing the cult favorites Undeclared, Arrested Development and The Comeback. He then moved back into features with the boxoffice hit Superbad, followed by Adventureland and, most recently, Paul.
