Directors Bio:

Marcin Stawarz was born in Zywiec, Poland, and moved to America at a early age when his parents emigrated. He earned his B.A. in mathematics from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, with a thesis on the loss of statistical information. While at Reed he caught a film bug from Cool, Bad, and Dr. Who Video Boards (which he helped found) that showed films ranging from classical Hollywood to Dr. Who episodes. After graduating from Reed, Marcin moved to New York City where he made short films on nights and weekends. This experience led him to pursue an MFA in Directing at Columbia University's Graduate School of the Arts.
