Directors Bio:

Born and raised in Greece, Elina Fessa received her B.A. from Yale University in photography. After studying filmmaking at FAMU in Prague, she returned to the U.S. where she is currently pursuing her M.F.A. at Columbia University. Elina is a recipient of the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation scholarship and the Propondis Foundation honorary scholarship. Her film "Still Water" won the Directors Guild of America Best Woman Student Filmmaker, and the Cinematic Achievement Award from the Aza Digital Cinema Festival in her hometown of Thessaloniki. Most recently Elina was accepted to the Berlinale Talent Campus and the Fémis Producing Atelier in Paris, France.
