Directors Bio:

Theresa Wu was born and raised by immigrant parents in their Chinese Restaurant in Philadelphia. She discovered her voice in stories that helped her see past the economic, social, and racial status that her family embodied within their family business. A sense of pain, longing, and hope is at the core of her work. Theresa is working towards her M.F.A in Film Directing at Columbia University. She also uses her filmmaking skills to teach and mentor at-risk children.
