Ken Kristensen is a professional writer-director-producer in film, television, and publishing, most recently selling his pitch, PLAYGROUND, to Disney. He has spent the last year behind bars–as writer-director-producer of JAIL, the hit TV show on My Network TV, and INSIDE AMERICAN JAIL on TruTV. Both series take an unflinching look behind bars of America's correctional facilities. In 2008, Image Comics will publish Ken's original graphic novel TODD, THE UGLIEST KID ON EARTH. As a Columbia student Ken's scripts have won the Teleplay Award (2005), the Zaki Gordon Award for Screenwriting Excellence (2007), and received Faculty Selects (2008). His screenplays have also been workshopped at both Sundance and IFP labs. Ken lives in Los Angeles and is represented by Circle of Confusion (310-253-7777).
