Directors Bio:
Carrie Schrader is a writer/director whose short films – Boys and Dogs and Kids Are Weird and Mine – have won festival awards internationally. Her screenplays have received acclaim from Outfest L.A. and New York's IFP market. She also won the "New Voices" award at the Seattle International Film Festival. While finishing her MFA in Directing at Columbia University, she has been honored to collaborate with Kendra Hillman, Tricia Cooke and Ethan Coen on several projects including two short films, The Thorny Rose and Don't Mess With Texas, an amimated music video called Rock and Roll Heaven's Gate, and a yet-to-be-titled feature length screenplay, all produced by Cherry Films.
